Dam: Ro's Shining Force of Justice Gold Rhadamanth
Sire: R'sul's Oath of Blood and Bronze Hesketh
Egg Name: Resurrection Egg
Egg Desc: Slate grays and metallic grays merge together to form the overall base hue of this large egg, giving off a cold-like atmosphere even though the egg is far from it. Hints of brass and copper shimmer and glint off any light that may fall along the few lines that they grace - and if one is quick to notice, they'll see that they hint at an edge, as though trying to form the side and base of a square or cubed shaped object frozen in an upwards tilt. It is along this mysteriously defined edge that there is more to the drab coloring on this egg's shell then one would first think. Almost black in some areas, darker grey hues twist and etch their way across in thin, patterned, lines forming what appears to be engraved into the slate and metallic grays. But from the tip of this egg, these etched lines take on a vivid, lively and almost electric shade of blue rather then the lifeless dark ones below and almost seem to pulse against their more dreary colored confinements.
Mind Name: Electric Sparks of Life
Mind Desc: Blackness makes up for most of the visual sense of her mind, although it's far from being a depressive or empty void-like atmosphere. Even when stilled in thought or at rest, her mind almost seems to softly hum with life - never quite silent. Sparks of vivid whites and blues jump and flare with her mental voice, increasing and decreasing depending on her tone. Eerie shades of greens and blues that seem to glow against the blackness snake up in lines - always changing patterns, size and shape. Never will the same form repeat itself and each seems directly affected by her current mood. The calmer she is, the slower the patterns and the more angrier or upset she is, the faster they will race and the hues will become near to blinding. Her voice, once it settles in, is a rich, deep and full bodied one, but with just enough of a feminine and youthful flare. However, don't be fooled! She can easily change to a deafening, booming voice that carries a near metallic sound to it when upset or passing on an urgent piece of information or command - it's more of an authorative voice and one she rarely uses.
Hatching Message: Resurrection Egg can no longer hold back and with the dark hued shell giving way enough to show a glimpse of bright green, it soon crumbles apart entirely and a dazzling, bright green hatchling emerges.
Hatchling Name: Trauen Sie Zu Folgen Green
Hatchling Desc:Garishly bright and flecked with traces of copper as though she were unearthed from regions unknown, this dragon is predominantly an obnoxious shade of lime green, blinding in hue even from birth. Fairly compact in build, she makes up for her small stature with her eagerly defiant stance and coloration. Yellow-greens swirl along her angular head and jaw, tipping headknobs more blunt than rounded and spinning down to trail along her neck. No delicately feminine curves or limbs have she, but muscular shoulders and powerful legs, each ending in obsidian talons. Clearly anything but subtle, her wings are a bit of a surprise - when folded against her back, they blend in almost perfectly with the rest of her hide. Her wingsails, when opened, are softer, pastel-like greens, delicately shaded membranes rather at odds with her otherwise unsubtle appearance, all the way down to the tip of her sinuous, lime-streaked tail.
Impression Message: It's the blackness that engulfs you first - your vision of the sands and fellow candidates disappearing within a blink of an eye. Then the weight of another mind coming to yours and the sudden lack of sounds around you as it ... no ... /she/ makes herself known. A distant glimmer of electric green, then blue, then green that seems to pulse in time with the beat of your own heart and grows steadily stronger in this darkened void. Then a voice ... /her/ voice, deep and melodic, soothing and almost child-like comes to you in a great woosh of sound. << Tomi! >> Relief, joy and love rush over you and as your vision returns, there is now a brightly hued green glancing up eargerly into your eyes. << Am I glad to find you, Tomi! I'm Abejath and we have so much to do together! >> Hunger begins to filter in now, steadily and persistant. << I think you know what our first mission is ... >>
That will be a common quote for Abejath, from the very first of her days and probably well into her seasoned Turns. It's a wise piece of advice and most likely the first thing in life that both you and her will inadvertently stumble upon together. From the beginning, she'll be an energetic handful, much like a young child that is eager to learn, to please and most of all - move. Abejath is always seeking for something for the two of you to do together and she'll do her best to make it either a new adventure or a learning experience. And just like any young child, Abejath will not be immune to getting into trouble, but don't worry - it won't be anything too big or too serious. Simply a case of overactive curiosity and a budding sense to strive to prove herself in and shape, way or form will sometimes overstep a few boundaries which will require you, as her rider, to correct her. She'll be quick to learn her faults and turn to you, the partner she admires so much, for advice before entering a new situation or when curiosity lends inspiration for a new adventure.
Training will not be difficult for Abejath, even if she is a small green. She'll strive to be the best - nothing less - and will eagerly pounce upon chances to improve not only her as a whole, but you too and make you both a solid working team. As she matures, she also grows mentally. In her younger Turns, she'll have a bit of a sharp tongue to her - it won't be beyond Abejath to crack a few joking or sarcastic remarks, or perhaps even brag. You'll have to lay the boundaries for her, as she may wind up stirring some trouble up with her mental thoughts alone. But even with her flaws, Abejath has the skills and enthusiasm to bring both of you to the top of your class. It'll become apparent, as well, as the months pass, that Abejath holds older and larger dragons in high respect. So high, in fact, that she'll listen to any advice or command they may give to her (of course, she'll pass the command on to you too - you're her teammate in these adventures!) - and that is where her greatest quirk and flaw resides. So strong is her admiration of older and larger dragons that she'll often forget her limits or any set rules. She'll dive at any opportunity to show others that even though she's a small green, she's just as strong, fast and useful then any of them! And here you'll have to put your foot down the strongest and reassure her that she is, indeed, a good green and to respect the rules and in general to keep her from dragging both you and herself into a dangerous situation.
Another of Abejath's strong points and perks will be her uncanny ability to pull some of the tougher maneuvers while flying. True to any green, she'll be as agile and daring as they come - if not more! Flying in itself is a challenge and ever changing adventure that she's always willing to practice. Dips, dives, sharp turns, and daring speeds - none of these faze her. If she can, she'll try them all and combine them and even suggest some plans with you for your approval. If there is ever a chance for you and Abejath to compete in the dragon games at a Gather - it would be a worthwhile experience.
When Abejath's time comes for her first mating flight, she'll hardly turn away the attention of any passing males. No - she'll be calling them! Taunts and challenging calls will be sent out to any male wishing to listen. She'll boast and show off, riling up the competition. This is her time to shine (literally!) and she'll use it to her advantage. Her flights may become known to be the toughest and fastest and wagers may be set not on who catches, but who can outlast her! This is where she puts her skill in flying to the ultimate test - she'll lead her chasers on a dizzying, heart pounding trial of daredevil stunts and breakneck speeds. To the one who does snare her, she'll have nothing but brief admiration for - at least until that draconic, short-term memory kicks in.
In the end, Abejath will be a strong, powerful green with a high set ability in flying and a solid attitude that keeps her striving to keep both you and her at the top of your game. She'll be a hard worker and encourage you to do so too, making you both a valuable team for any Wing. And while she'll hold a strong admiration for older and larger dragons - her strongest admiration and role model will be you as you are her one and only love and, to her, the greatest teammate a dragon could ever ask for.
Your green was loosely based on the youngest of the Transformers characters: Bumblebee. Abejath (AH-bay-hahth)'s name comes from the Spanish word Abeja, which means 'Bee'. Bumblebee is known as the "little brother" of the Heroic Autobot faction, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the taller, stronger robots that he respects - especially his leader, Optimus Prime. So strong is this admiration toward others, he takes risks that put him in danger. Although a bit of a wise-cracker, he is a capable and reliable messenger and spy, his small size allowing him to go places that his larger comrades cannot. For all the information and extensive background history on this character, feel free to read his Wikipedia file here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bumblebee_(Transformers).
Your green was created for you to enjoy - her personality is not set in stone, this is only a guideline. Feel free to play her as you desire and have fun together! Congratulations on Impressing and welcome to your new life as a weyrling at High Reaches Weyr!
